On FirstPromoter we offer the option to use your own domain. This comes in handy when you want your affiliates to feel they are still on your website or if you want to embed the affiliate dashboard into your website.
Rather than using the default "," you have the option to use your custom subdomain, such as "" or "", or any other subdomain of your choosing.

Note: This feature is available only for Business plans or higher.

This is for FirstPromoter v2, if you are still using v1, please check this article

For users migrating from the old version to the new one that already have a custom domain set, you need to update the CNAME from "" to "" and press the Verify button as shown in the final part of Step 2.

Step 1)

Go to your DNS provider and create a CNAME record pointing to "".

Note: If you are using Cloudflare as your DNS provider, make sure the Cloudflare proxy is not enabled on the CNAME (make sure orange cloud is disabled).

Step 2)

Open the Settings page (top-right > profile button > settings), scroll down to the custom domain section and click on +Add custom domain.

Enter the subdomain you just set the CNAME for into the "Custom domain" field and click Save.

*Once you click on Save, we will attempt a verification to check if the CNAME is properly set*

Possible error messages you may encounter and how to solve them:

For users that are migrating from the old version to the new one that already have the custom domain already set or in the event that the validation of the CNAME fails, we will show the below.

To resolve this double-check the CNAME record and ensure it is pointed to "". Afterwards, click on the Verify button to retry the verification. You may also need to wait for some few minutes before retrying, as in some instances it may take up to 30 seconds before it resolves successfully.

For users that get the following error: Domain - is missing required TXT Record ', you will need to copy the TXT record provided in the error message and set it for _vercel subdomain (if errors shows subdomain as enter just _vercel as subdomain in the DNS record):
