Moving promoters to a different campaign is really easy when using FirstPromoter. This is usually done when adjusting the commission level. For example, moving affiliates from the "Basic Affiliates Campaign" with a 20% commission to the "VIP Affiliates Campaign" with a 25% commission.

This is for FirstPromoter v2, if you are still using v1, please check this article

When a promoter is moved from Campaign A to Campaign B, their referral ID/token created in Campaign A will be kept in Campaign B.

How to move promoters

There are two methods to move promoters to a different campaign:

  1. Automatically

    • By "leveling up" to another campaign when a specified number of referred customers or a revenue amount is reached. Additional information on this feature can be found here.

  2. Manually

    • In batches: Navigate to "Promoters" > check mark the promoters you want to move > click on "Campaigns action" below > "Move to Campaign";

    • Individually: Access "Promoters" > Search for the specific affiliate > click on the three-dot menu > "Campaign actions" > "Move to Campaign".

      Alternatively, you can go to the promoters overview page, select the three-dot menu on their current campaign (OR you can select the three-dot menu on the right of his name, in the upper right corner of the promoters overview page) and choose "Move to Campaign".

In addition, when moving promoters from Campaign A to Campaign B, two options will appear:

  1. Keep them in the old campaign

When selecting this option, it means that recurring commissions for customers referred in Campaign A will remain unchanged. The newly set commission structure in Campaign B will only apply to customers referred after the switch to Campaign B.

2. Move them to the new campaign

If selecting this one, it means that already tracked commissions will remain unchanged under the previous campaign, but new commissions for the existing customers will be tracked under the new campaign.
