On FirstPromoter we offer the option to use your own domain. This comes in handy when you want your affiliates to feel they are still on your website or if you want to embed the affiliate dashboard into your website.
Rather than using the default "https://yoursubdomain.firstpromoter.com," you have the option to use your custom subdomain, such as "http://affiliate.yourdomain.com" or "https://partners.yourdomain.com", or any other subdomain of your choosing.

Note: This feature is available only for Business plans or higher.

This is for FirstPromoter v2, if you are still using v1, please check this article

For users migrating from the old version to the new one that already have a custom domain set, you need to update the CNAME from "proxy.firstpromoter.com" to "cname.firstpromoter.com" and press the Verify button as shown in the final part of Step 2.

Step 1)

Go to your DNS provider and create a CNAME record pointing to "cname.firstpromoter.com".

Note: If you are using Cloudflare as your DNS provider, make sure the Cloudflare proxy is not enabled on the CNAME (make sure orange cloud is disabled).

Step 2)

Open the Settings page (top-right > profile button > settings), scroll down to the custom domain section and click on +Add custom domain.

Enter the subdomain you just set the CNAME for into the "Custom domain" field and click Save.

*Once you click on Save, we will attempt a verification to check if the CNAME is properly set*

Possible error messages you may encounter and how to solve them:
