Blocking or suspending a promoter in FirstPromoter allows you to manage their activity within your affiliate or referral program. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to block or suspend a promoter.

This is for FirstPromoter v2, if you are still using v1, please check this article

Blocking or Suspending a Promoter?

  • Blocking a Promoter
    When you block a promoter, all tracking associated with their account is completely stopped. This includes tracking new clicks, signups, customers, and recurring commissions from existing customers.

  • Suspending a Promoter
    Suspending a promoter stops the tracking of clicks and new referrals. However, sales for existing referrals will continue to be tracked.

Blocking a promoter

  • Navigate to "Promoters" in your FirstPromoter dashboard;

  • Search and access the desired promoter;

  • In the Promoter overview, click on the three small dots next to the promoter's name;

  • Choose "Campaign Actions" and then "Block on Campaign";

  • Select the campaign you want the promoter to be blocked from;

  • Confirm by selecting "Yes, Block the promoter".

You can also block promoters in bulk by going to "Promoters" - selecting promoters - "Campaign Actions" - "Block on Campaign"

Suspending a promoter

  • Go to "Promoters" in your FirstPromoter dashboard;

  • Find and select the desired promoter;

  • Click on the three small dots next to the promoter's name in the Promoter overview;

  • Select "Campaign Actions" and then "Remove From Campaign";

  • Choose the campaign from which you want to remove the promoter;

  • Confirm by clicking "Remove".

You can also suspend promoters in bulk by going to "Promoters" - selecting promoters - "Campaign Actions" - "Remove From Campaign"

By following these steps, you can effectively manage the activity of promoters in your FirstPromoter account, ensuring optimal performance and tracking within your affiliate or referral program.
